Bosnia and Herzegovina allocates 4.15 million KM for refugee and returnee projects

The Commission for Refugees and Displaced Persons of Bosnia and Herzegovina has approved the allocation of 4,155,000 KM for the year 2026. These funds are designated for projects aimed at addressing the needs of returnees, displaced persons, and other beneficiaries of rights established under Annex VII of the Dayton Peace Agreement.

During its 10th regular session, the Commission also reviewed the financial realization report of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Return Fund for the period from January 1 to June 30, 2026. Members expressed satisfaction with the current progress of ongoing projects.

A public call for 2026 applications has been finalized. Cities, municipalities, churches, and religious communities will be eligible to apply. The official call, including application forms and required documentation, is expected to be published in the coming days on the website of the Ministry for Human Rights and Refugees and through print media.
