Bosnia and Herzegovina gas pipeline project valued at 1.29 billion KM detailed
Detailed documentation has been released for a 94.4-kilometer section of the Šepak – Banja Luka – Novi Grad main gas pipeline, one of the largest energy projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The project is valued at approximately 1.29 billion KM.
The planned route for the DN 500 and DN 400 diameter pipeline will pass through the communities of Doboj, Stanari, Derventa, Prnjavor, Laktaši, and Banja Luka. Much of the pipeline will be laid alongside the ‘9. januar’ highway. The construction will involve complex engineering, including passages beneath the Bosna river near Doboj and the Vrbas river near Laktaši.
A major gas center is planned for the Ramići neighborhood in Banja Luka, featuring a primary measuring and regulation station covering approximately 3.18 hectares with a projected maximum flow of 100,000 cubic meters of gas per hour. Additional measuring and regulation stations are slated for Laktaši and Prnjavor.
