Bosnia and Herzegovina launches Kaleidoskop music and Avant & Una film festivals
The 16th edition of the Kaleidoskop Festival of Youth Arts opens in Tuzla on 28 July and runs until 2 August, offering concerts, exhibitions, workshops and mural projects. The programme features well‑known regional acts such as LET 3, Edo Maajka, Kanda Kodža and Nebojša, Hiljson Mandela and others, alongside visual art displays and a youth‑focused art market.
From 26 July to 31 July, the town of Bihać hosts the 8th Avant & Una Film Festival. The opening film is the documentary “Radio Rambo Amadeus” by Dušan Varda, followed by a concert by Sarajevo’s The Blues Train. The festival showcases 25 feature and short films, honours filmmaker Ratko Orozović and promoter Alen Zulić, and highlights environmental protection of the Una river with the Grand Prix “Una Sirena”. Both events aim to promote contemporary culture and creative industries across Bosnia and Herzegovina.
