Bosnia and Herzegovina official vehicle misuse allegations
A new instance of alleged misuse of official government vehicles has been reported in Maglaj, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Reports indicate that a Volkswagen Golf 8, assigned to the Federal Ministry for Veterans Affairs and Disabled Fighters of the Liberation War, was being driven by the daughter of Federal Minister Nedžad Lokmić.
The vehicle was observed at a gas station in Maglaj, reportedly for the purpose of purchasing groceries. This incident follows similar allegations in the Una-Sana Canton, where official vehicles were reportedly used for private trips to the seaside, shopping, and transporting children to sporting events. The Ministry is expected to be questioned regarding authorization and the specific conditions under which these vehicles may be used outside of official duties.
