Bosnia and Herzegovina passport ranks 43rd, granting visa‑free entry to 122 nations

According to the latest Henley Passport Index for the second quarter of the current year, the passport issued by Bosnia and Herzegovina is placed 43rd out of 199 passports, providing its holders with visa‑free or visa‑on‑arrival access to 122 countries worldwide. The index, compiled from International Air Transport Association data, ranks passports by the number of destinations that can be entered without a prior visa.

The ranking puts Bosnia and Herzegovina among the 50 strongest passports globally. In the regional context, nearby Croatia sits in the top ten, while Serbia, Montenegro and North Macedonia rank lower. The list also shows Sweden, Switzerland and Finland occupying the top three positions overall.
