Bosnia and Herzegovina pension payments and enrollment requirements

Pension payments for August have been disbursed in both Republika Srpska and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In Republika Srpska, the average pension is 724 KM, with the highest reaching 3,910 KM and the lowest at 361 KM. Following recent increases, the highest pensions rose by 134 KM and the average by 26 KM.

In the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the average independent pension is 885 KM, while the highest is 3,461 KM. The lowest pension for those with less than 20 years of service is 451 KM.

Additionally, the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund has issued a notice regarding family pensions for students. To ensure uninterrupted payments, students and pupils must submit certificates of enrollment. High school students are required to submit these in September, while university students must submit them in October or November, depending on their institution's enrollment schedule. Certificates must include the parent's identification number used for the pension claim.
