Bosnia and Herzegovina police tender overturned over Glock specifications

The Review Office for Complaints of Bosnia and Herzegovina has overturned a tender issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Central Bosnia Canton (SBK) regarding the procurement of 300 pistols.

The office ruled that the tender specifications were tailored specifically for the Glock 45 Gen5 model. According to the complaint filed by the firm Danial S, the technical specifications were copied directly from the manufacturer's official website, leaving only a three percent margin for deviation. This narrow margin effectively prevented any other firearm models from meeting the requirements.

While other reputable manufacturers such as Sarsilmaz, CZ, and HS Produkt offer similar service pistols, the specific cumulative requirements set in the documentation could only be met by the Glock model. KM Trade is identified as the sole authorized representative for Glock products in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
