Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency blocks military property resolution in Ortiješ
Slaven Galić, the Deputy Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina, has expressed dissatisfaction following a session of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. According to Galić, the Presidency failed to grant consent to resolve the issue of military property in Ortiješ near Mostar.
Resolving this property dispute is considered critical for the completion of the Corridor Vc construction project. This infrastructure project is intended to relieve traffic congestion on the M-17 highway. Galić warned that continued institutional blocking of these obligations contradicts the principles of Annex 10 of the Dayton Peace Agreement.
Furthermore, Galić called upon judicial and other relevant institutions to determine the responsibility of the Presidency for damages already incurred and potential penalties or fines that may arise due to these delays.
