During ‘Operation Thor,’ which targeted organized crime and the illegal trade of weapons and drugs, authorities conducted searches in Sarajevo, Doboj, and Bratunca.

Following a search of his office at the Ilijaš Police Station, Mujo Brkić, an officer of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior, died from self-inflicted gunshot wounds. Investigators suspect Brkić was linked to the Foxtrot criminal network, a Swedish-based organization led by Rawa Majid.

Reports indicate that Brkić allegedly used forged documentation to facilitate the purchase of weapons. Investigators have linked at least four pistols purchased in Bosnia and Herzegovina to five separate murders in Sweden. During the police raids, authorities seized nine hunting rifles, five pistols, approximately 190 rounds of ammunition, and extensive documentation related to weapon permits and sales.
