Bosnia and Herzegovina reports real estate price fall and agriculture revenue growth

The Federal Administration for Geodetic and Property Affairs released a semi‑annual report on the real‑estate market in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the first half of 2026. Transaction volume fell by 8 % compared with the same period in 2025 and the total value of sales dropped 18 % to 810.46 million KM. The average prices of apartments and land remained unchanged, while house prices rose 5.7 % year‑on‑year. The highest recorded apartment price was 1.18 million KM and the highest house price 700 000 KM, both in the Centar municipality of Sarajevo.

Separately, the Financial‑Informatic Agency presented the 2025 economic and financial review of the agriculture, water management and forestry sector to Federal Minister Kemal Hrnjić. Total sector revenue reached 741 million KM, a 9 % increase over 2024, with net profit of 39.2 million KM. The sector comprises 710 companies employing 6,948 workers and generated 66 million KM in exports. Plant and livestock production contributed the largest share of income and profitability, while rising labor costs, lower productivity and limited export orientation were identified as challenges.
