Bosnia and Herzegovina U16 basketball team reaches EuroBasket semifinals
The Bosnia and Herzegovina U16 men's national basketball team has advanced to the semifinals of the FIBA U16 European Championship Division B. Following a dramatic quarterfinal match in North Macedonia, the team overcame a significant deficit to defeat Great Britain 83:73 in overtime. Key performers included Alem Elezović, who scored 28 points, and Pavle Koprivica, who contributed 22 points and 11 rebounds. The victory places them one win away from promotion to Division A, with a semifinal matchup against Iceland.
In other youth sports, the Croatian U17 women's volleyball team secured third place at a Nations Cup preparatory tournament in Spain after defeating New Zealand 3:1. This result serves as preparation for the upcoming U17 World Championship in Tenerife.
