Bosnia launches major cultural festivals in Goražde and Brčko

The city of Goražde opened its annual cultural festival with a parade led by Mayor Ernest Imamović, a flag‑raising ceremony and performances by local artists such as Aziza Gluščević Ziska and the group S.A.R.S. The week‑long program will feature concerts, exhibitions, book promotions, workshops and sports activities, emphasizing peace, unity and friendship.

In Brčko, the three‑day Street Art Fest – “Ulice koje ožive” – began on the Trg mladih, turning the city centre into an open‑air stage. Organized by the Brčko District Tourist Organization, the event showcases costumed actors, live statues, jugglers and street performers, including the Skopje‑based troupe Teatrosk. Director Ivana Damjanović highlighted the aim of turning streets into meeting places for culture and community.
