Bosnian clubs bolster squads with new signings ahead of 2026 season

FK Sloboda Tuzla announced the arrival of 22‑year‑old goalkeeper Igor Rončević from FK Željezničar. Rončević spent the previous season on loan at NK Travnik, where he kept eight clean sheets and helped the team finish second with the fewest goals conceded in the First League of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Sloboda expects his experience and reliable shot‑stopping to strengthen competition for the goalkeeper position as the club prepares for the 2026/27 campaign.

NK Čelik also introduced a new signing, 27‑year‑old midfielder Faruk Gogić, who will wear the club's red‑black jersey. Gogić began his career at FK Sloboda Tuzla and has since played for several Bosnian clubs and a stint in Russia with Spartak Kostroma, accumulating 120 league appearances. Upon joining Čelik he said, "Velika čast i zadovoljstvo je postati dio ovako velikog kluba. Dolazim silno motivisan i spreman za nove izazove.
