Bosnian companies win 180 million KM highway contract in Herzegovina

JP Autoceste FBiH has selected a consortium of domestic companies, Hering d. d. Široki Brijeg and KTM-Brina d. o. o. Posušje, to construct two new sections of a highway in Herzegovina. The project involves building 13.18 kilometers of road connecting Polog to the Croatian border, specifically the Polog–Uzarići and Uzarići–Polugrno sections.

The contract is valued at approximately 179.5 million KM including VAT. The tender received five bids, including submissions from major Chinese construction firms. However, the bids from China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) and Shandong Foreign Economic and Technical Cooperation Group were disqualified for failing to meet tender documentation requirements, such as providing bid security in the prescribed form or submitting required evidence.
