Bosnian film poster exhibition opens in Zagreb

The Kinoteka of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Croatia have opened an exhibition of Bosnian film posters at the Embassy's Cultural and Information Center in Zagreb. The collection features posters created between 1951 and 2012, showcasing the evolution of domestic cinema and its artistic heritage.

The exhibition highlights the work of various prominent artists and designers, including Pablo Picasso, Ismet Mujezinović, Franjo Likar, Miloš Ćirić, and Andrija Maurović, among others. These works serve as both artistic expressions and historical documents of the region's cultural development.

The display is part of the extensive archives maintained by the Kinoteka of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an institution that has been collecting and protecting film heritage since 1963. The event included a screening of the 1965 short documentary ‘U zavjetrini vremena’ by director Vlatko Filipović. The exhibition remains open to the public until November 2.
