Bosnian footballers Deket and Alajbegović receive international recognition

Bosnian football talents Matej Deket and Kerim Alajbegović have received significant international recognition from major European media outlets.

Matej Deket, a 17-year-old player for Borac Banja Luka and the youngest-ever scorer for the Bosnia and Herzegovina U-21 national team, was named by The Guardian as one of the 60 most talented footballers in the world. The publication highlighted his goal-scoring ability and his role in playmaking and attacking construction.

Meanwhile, 19-year-old Kerim Alajbegović has been named among the 25 finalists for the Golden Boy award by Tuttosport. Alajbegović, who recently moved to Juventus following a season at Salzburg, is the only Bosnian player on the shortlist. Juventus coach Luciano Spalletti has also expressed confidence in the young player's potential.
