Bosnian midfielders Igor Savić and Nihad Mujakić set for moves to Romania and Azerbaijan
Former Zrinjski midfielder Igor Savić has signed with Romanian side Universitatea Cluj. He said the club’s ambition to compete for the league title and a Conference League spot attracted him, adding that he would gladly answer a call from Bosnia‑Herzegovina coach Sergej Barbarez: “If he decides I’m needed, nobody will be happier than me.”
Defender Nihad Mujakić, 28, is expected to leave Serbian club Partizan this summer after his loan at Gaziantep ends. Azerbaijani champions Qarabağ have offered a transfer fee and a contract, which would ease Partizan’s budget. Mujakić would join fellow Bosnian international goalkeeper Martin Zlomislić, who already moved to Qarabağ. His previous clubs include Sarajevo, Kortrijk, Hajduk Split, Ankaragücü and Gaziantep.
