Bosnian students win 21 medals at London TeenEagle competition

Students from Richmond Park International Schools in Tuzla and Sarajevo represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at the TeenEagle competition in London from 21 to 28 June 2026. The event, which featured participants from more than 36 countries, tested English language and mathematics skills across writing, debate, spelling bee, problem solving and general knowledge.

Bosnian participants earned a total of 21 medals – one gold, ten silver and seven bronze – and received three Honourable Mention awards. Emma Zolotić secured the gold medal, while students such as Nejla Žabić, Lamija Brčaninović, Asja Huremović and Amila Avdić added silver medals. The Bašalija brothers from Sarajevo contributed two silver medals in English and a bronze in mathematics, with Armen Bašalija also earning an Honourable Mention in mathematics. The results highlight the high quality of education at Richmond Park International Schools and the strong potential of Bosnian youth on the international stage.
