Bosnia’s Asim Ferhatović Hase Stadium Suspended for 2026/27 Season

The Competition Committee of the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina decided to suspend the main pitch of Asim Ferhatović Hase Stadium in Sarajevo for the 2026/27 WWin league and Cup season. Inspections on 5 August 2026 found that hybrid grass damage caused by three‑day concerts had not been fully repaired, leaving the surface below the standards required by competition regulations and the VAR manual. The suspension took effect immediately and will remain in force until the committee lifts it.

The committee also approved FK Sarajevo’s request to relocate its opening‑round match against FK Radnik Bijeljina. The game will be played on 8 August 2026 at Stadion Rođeni in Mostar, while repair work on the Sarajevo pitch continues.
