Bosnia’s July 2026 Musalla and Lastavica religious‑cultural festivals

The Islamic community in Sanski Most announced that the five‑day Musalla 2026 religious‑cultural manifestation will take place from 27 to 31 July. The program includes a joint Friday prayer for thirty local congregations at the Fatih Musalla site in Donji Kamengrad, meetings with Bosniak representatives, an exhibition of paintings and calligraphy by Munira Tufekčić, and a concert featuring ilahija and kasida performer Mustafa Isaković.

Separately, the Lastavica 2026 festival scheduled a traditional Quran Evening on 24 July. Because of forecast‑ed adverse weather, organizers moved the event from Vrandučka fortress to a mosque in Varošište. The program features recitations by several hafiz and imams, a address by mufti Prof. Dr. Mevludin Dizdarević, and a religious counsel by Mr. Dževad Pleh, director of the Gazi Husrev-beg madrasa.
