Boss Mustapha receives tributes from Nigerian leaders on 70th birthday

Nigerian leaders, including President Bola Tinubu, former President Olusegun Obasanjo, and former Head of State Yakubu Gowon, have issued tributes to former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha, on the occasion of his 70th birthday.

President Tinubu praised Mustapha as an exceptional leader and a bridge-builder, specifically highlighting his role in engineering the merger of political groups to form the All Progressives Congress (APC). Tinubu also credited Mustapha’s leadership as Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 for positioning Nigeria as a model for epidemic response in Africa.

General Yakubu Gowon described Mustapha’s career as a testimony to excellence in public service, noting his resilience during the pandemic. Olusegun Obasanjo characterized the milestone as a ‘platinum jubilee’ and commended Mustapha’s profound contributions to national development.
