Bossier Parish road closure scheduled for LA 160

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced a one-day road closure on LA 160 in Bossier Parish. The closure is scheduled for Wednesday, October 7, from approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

The closure will occur at the Union Pacific railroad crossing located immediately east of the intersection with LA 3. This total closure is necessary to allow the railroad company to perform repairs to the tracks.

Motorists will be required to use alternate routes, and detour signage will be provided. The work is subject to weather conditions, which may alter the scheduled hours. Drivers are advised to use caution near construction sites and work crews.
