Boston 2026 World Stamp Show attracts 20,000 attendees

The Boston 2026 World Stamp Show, held from May 23 to 30 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, concluded with over 20,000 attendees. The international philatelic exhibition featured 719 competitive exhibits occupying 3,746 frames, alongside 192 literature exhibits. The event included 364 meetings and presentations, with 118 participating societies and 31 represented postal administrations.

Organizers reported significant financial and volunteer support, noting $1,096,152 in booth fees and approximately $1.2 million in pledged donations. The exhibition also served as a platform for discussing digital philately. In collaboration with organizations such as the Universal Postal Union and the United Nations, participants demonstrated how digital technologies can enhance stamp authentication and connect physical stamps with digital content without replacing traditional collecting methods.
