NHL announces 2026-27 national broadcast schedule
The National Hockey League, in partnership with ESPN and TNT Sports, has released the national broadcast schedule for the 2026-27 regular season. The coverage will span multiple platforms, including ABC, ESPN, ESPN+, Disney+, Hulu, and TNT.
Several teams are slated for significant national exposure. The Boston Bruins and Pittsburgh Penguins are both scheduled for 20 nationally televised games. The Detroit Red Wings will appear in 17 broadcasts, while the Vegas Golden Knights will feature in 15. Other teams, such as the Carolina Hurricanes and New Jersey Devils, have 12 games scheduled for national television.
The season will kick off with an opening night tripleheader on September 29, featuring the Florida Panthers vs. Carolina Hurricanes, New York Rangers vs. Boston Bruins, and Chicago Blackhawks vs. Vegas Golden Knights. TNT will also host major events such as the Heritage Classic, Winter Classic, and the 2027 Stanley Cup Final.
