Boston Bruins coach sets expectations for James Hagens

The coach cited the development of Marat Khusnutdinov and Fraser Minten as examples of players who earned significant roles by meeting defensive and tactical expectations.

While Hagens showed flashes of talent during his brief stints in the AHL and NHL last season, Sturm noted that the player focused heavily on avoiding mistakes. For the upcoming season, the coaching staff aims to help Hagens maintain his offensive skill and touch while providing the necessary professional structure.
