Boston Bruins host annual charity golf tournament

The Boston Bruins held their 23rd annual charity golf tournament at the Pinehills Golf Club in Plymouth, Massachusetts. The event brought together current roster members, alumni, and Special Olympics athletes to raise funds for the Boston Bruins Foundation and the Boston Bruins Alumni Association.

Ahead of training camp, head coach Marco Sturm noted that the team is still in the process of selecting a new captain. Sturm indicated that leadership discussions involve ongoing communication with players and management, with a final decision expected before the season begins.

Players such as Elias Lindholm and Morgan Geekie expressed optimism about building on the progress made during the previous season. The Bruins are scheduled to begin their preseason preparations next week, with their regular season opener set for September 29 against the New York Rangers at TD Garden.
