The Boston Celtics are preparing to face the New York Knicks following season-opening losses for both teams. Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla emphasized the critical importance of the center position, noting their role in defensive communication, rim protection, and offensive execution.

Following a difficult performance against the Detroit Pistons, Mitchell Robinson expressed a desire to improve his play.
