Boston Celtics sign Devin Carter to training camp contract

The Boston Celtics have signed guard Devin Carter to an Exhibit 10 contract to participate in their training camp. The deal is non-guaranteed and offers the possibility of conversion into a two-way contract or a bonus if Carter joins the team’s G League affiliate after being released.

Carter, a former Big East Player of the Year at Providence College, was selected 13th overall in the 2023 NBA Draft by the Sacramento Kings. Following his time in Sacramento, he was traded to the Atlanta Hawks in June, who subsequently waived him. During his previous seasons, Carter averaged 8.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game.

Carter joins other Exhibit 10 players in the Celtics' camp, including Milos Uzan and Tucker DeVries, as the team seeks to fill roster and two-way spots.
