Boston Celtics sign Devin Carter to two-way contract

Boston Celtics Devin Carter two-way contract NBA Maine Celtics

The Boston Celtics have signed point guard Devin Carter to a two-way contract for the 2026-27 season. Carter, a former Providence College standout, previously played for the Sacramento Kings.

Despite missing three preseason games due to illness, Carter impressed the organization during his lone preseason appearance on October 8 against the Cleveland Cavaliers, where he recorded 17 points, five rebounds, and three assists in 25 minutes.

The two-way deal allows Carter to split time between the Celtics and their G League affiliate, the Maine Celtics. He joins Dillon Mitchell and Amari Williams as the team’s three two-way players.
