The Boston City Council has adopted resolutions to recognize National Farmers Market Week and National Health Center Week, honoring the organizations and workers that support resident well-being.

The resolution for National Farmers Market Week highlights the role of local markets in supporting agriculture, expanding access to fresh food, and fostering community connections. It specifically noted the importance of programs like SNAP and the Healthy Incentives Program (HIP) in making local produce more accessible.
