Boston developers propose new residential projects in Allston and Dorchester

Multiple residential development projects are moving forward in the Boston area. In Allston, Burlington-based DND Homes has submitted a proposal for a 151-unit apartment complex at 169-177 Cambridge Street. The 6-story, 82,606 square-foot building would replace several single-family homes and small apartment buildings. The project seeks zoning relief and includes plans for 28 off-street parking spaces and upgrades to local pedestrian infrastructure.

In Dorchester, developers Fernando Dalfior and Brad Cangiamila are proposing a 20-unit condominium complex at 2062 Dorchester Ave near the Ashmont station. The 4.5-story building would replace an unoccupied two-family home. To accommodate first-time homebuyers, the plan includes a mix of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units, with 15 of the 20 units offered without parking spaces.
