Boston homicide of 18‑year‑old in home owned by Rep. Ayanna Pressley's husband

An 18‑year‑old woman, Yoseliani Ann Marte Ocasio, was found dead inside a rental property in Mattapan, Boston. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled the death a homicide caused by a single gunshot wound to the head. The home is owned by Conan Harris, the husband of U.S. Representative Ayanna Pressley, though officials said there is no connection between the property owners and the crime.

Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit continues to investigate. No arrests have been made, and the victim’s mother has appealed for information. Pressley expressed devastation over the loss and extended condolences to the family.
