Boston Pizza Festival returns to City Hall Plaza

The ninth annual Boston Pizza Festival took place at City Hall Plaza on September 19 and 20. Described as New England’s largest consumer pizza event, the festival featured more than 30 handcrafted brick ovens and attracted an estimated 20,000 visitors.

Notable participants included Quattro, a North End restaurant represented by defending ‘People’s Choice for Best Pizza’ winner Raffaele Russo. The event also showcased various pizza businesses and caterers, such as Palencia’s Pizza and CopperDome Crust, highlighting a diverse range of Neapolitan-style and wood-fired offerings.
