Boston Public Library announces 2026 Fall Lecture Series

The Boston Public Library has announced its 2026 Fall Lecture Series, featuring a lineup of authors, filmmakers, and experts. The programs will be held at Copley Square and the Shaw-Roxbury Branch, with hybrid options available for in-person or virtual attendance via Zoom.

Key scheduled speakers include:

• Sarah Botstein: The Emmy-nominated documentary producer will discuss her film ‘The American Revolution’ during the Lowell Lecture on September 22. • N. K. Jemisin: The award-winning fantasy author will discuss her career and genre-reimagining work on September 29. • Ann Patchett: The bestselling author will headline the Maury A. Bromsen Humanistic Literary Arts Lecture on October 3.

Other scheduled sessions include an AI and Civic Engagement Panel on October 21, a presentation by Nicholas Boggs on October 28, and a talk by Dr. Kizzmekia Corbett on November 9.
