Boston Red Sox defeat Baltimore Orioles 6-5

The Boston Red Sox defeated the Baltimore Orioles 6-5 at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. The game was highlighted by the return of catcher Adley Rutschman, who was traded from Baltimore to Boston in July.

Returning to his former team, Rutschman hit two home runs, driving in three runs. The Orioles initially held a lead following home runs from Pete Alonso and Luis Robert Jr., with Alonso recording his 33rd home run of the season. However, the Red Sox mounted a comeback in the seventh and eighth innings, aided by a two-run home run from Nick Sogard.
