Boston Teen Murder Confirmed in Property Owned by Rep. Pressley's Husband

The Massachusetts Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled that the death of 18‑year‑old Yoseliani Ann Marte Ocasio is a homicide. Marte was found with a single gunshot wound to the head on July 18 inside a second‑floor apartment at 25 Malta Street in Mattapan, Boston. The rental property is owned by Conan Harris, the husband of U.S. Representative Ayanna Pressley.

Boston Police homicide detectives continue to investigate. No suspect has been publicly identified and no charges have been announced. Officials said the investigation has not linked Pressley, Harris, or the property ownership to the shooting.
