BOTAŞ initiates land expropriation in Kırıkkale for energy lines

BOTAŞ (Boru Hatları ile Petrol Taşıma Anonim Şirketi) has initiated expropriation proceedings for real estate located in the Keskin district of Kırıkkale, Turkey, to facilitate the construction of energy transmission lines.

Legal notices issued by the Keskin Civil Court of First Instance detail lawsuits filed under Article 10 of the Expropriation Law No. 2942 for the determination of compensation and registration of property. The affected areas include locations in Müsellim Village and Ceritkale Village.

Property owners have 30 days to file for annulment in administrative courts or to contest material errors in judicial courts. If no stay of execution is documented within this period, the expropriation will be finalized, and permanent easement rights or ownership will be registered to BOTAŞ. Determined compensation will be deposited into the accounts of the affected owners at the Türkiye Ziraat Bankası Keskin branch.
