BOTAŞ initiates land expropriation in Mardin's Nusaybin district

BOTAŞ (Boru Hatları ile Petrol Taşıma Anonim Şirketi) has initiated legal proceedings for the expropriation of agricultural lands in the Duruca neighborhood of the Nusaybin district in Mardin, Turkey.

The legal actions involve two specific parcels of land: an 8,100 square meter field (Parcel 168) and an 11,100 square meter field (Parcel 72). These expropriations follow decisions made by the Energy Market Regulatory Authority and BOTAŞ General Directorate.

The Nusaybin 3rd Civil Court of First Instance is handling the cases to determine the expropriation compensation and to register temporary and permanent easement rights in favor of BOTAŞ. Property owners have a 30-day window from the announcement to file for cancellation or correction in the relevant administrative or judicial courts.
