Botafogo advances negotiations for Everton Cebolinha

Botafogo is advancing in negotiations to sign attacker Everton Cebolinha from Flamengo. The club believes it has the best proposal on the table following reports that Russian side Krasnodar has stepped back from the pursuit. Flamengo has reportedly indicated it is willing to release the player immediately, despite his contract running until December. While specific financial terms have not been officially confirmed, discussions involve potential monthly salaries in the range of R$ 1.5 million plus signing bonuses.

In addition to the pursuit of Cebolinha, Botafogo is finalizing the arrival of defender Arthur Chaves, who is expected in Rio de Janeiro to undergo medical examinations and sign his contract.
