Botafogo defender Arthur Chaves remains a doubt for Internacional match

Botafogo defender Arthur Chaves is progressing in his recovery from an iliac bone and abdominal injury, but his availability for the upcoming match against Internacional at Beira-Rio remains uncertain. Chaves has returned to training with the squad at Espaço Lonier, but he was unable to participate in the recent 1-0 victory over Chapecoense due to persistent pain in the affected area.

If Chaves is unable to play, manager Tite may continue to rely on Marçal to fill the defensive gap, especially with Lucas Monzón also sidelined due to calf issues.

In other squad news, midfielder Edenílson has returned to full training without restrictions following a thigh muscle injury sustained in September. He is expected to be available for selection against Internacional.
