Botafogo negotiates return of striker Tiquinho Soares

Botafogo is in advanced negotiations to bring striker Tiquinho Soares back to the club. The 35-year-old forward is currently a free agent following a legal rescission of his contract with Santos in July due to alleged salary delays.

Reports indicate the proposed deal could run through the end of the 2026 season. To accommodate current financial constraints, the contract is expected to feature a lower salary than what the player received during his previous stint.
