Botafogo-PB CEO seeks new investors from Rio and England

Fillipe Félix, CEO of the Botafogo-PB SAF, has announced plans to seek new investors and partners for the club. This decision comes following a period of frustration for the team during the Série C quadrangular stage, specifically after a 0-0 draw against Maringá that left the club in last place in Group B.

Félix stated that the search for new capital is independent of whether the club achieves promotion to Série B. He revealed that preliminary discussions are already underway with investment funds located in Rio de Janeiro and England. The CEO expressed a desire to find partners who can maintain a physical presence in João Pessoa to oversee the club's football operations.

While acknowledging that the mathematical chances for promotion are slim and depend on specific combinations of results, Félix emphasized that the club will continue to compete as long as there is a possibility of advancement.
