Botafogo plans to sell midfielder Montoro in 2027

Botafogo plans to sell 19-year-old Argentine midfielder Montoro in 2027. The club recently extended his contract until 2030, establishing a release clause of 50 million euros (approximately 295.7 million reais).

Montoro, who joined from Vélez Sarsfield in June 2025, is currently the second most valuable player in the squad with an estimated market value of 14 million euros.
