Botafogo receives $8 million offer for striker Arthur Cabral

Mexican club Tigres has submitted an $8 million (approximately R$ 41 million) proposal to acquire striker Arthur Cabral from Botafogo. The offer includes a four-year contract, which both the player and the Botafogo board are currently evaluating.

Cabral, 28, joined Botafogo in June 2025 with a contract running until the end of 2028. He has scored 14 goals for the club but is currently experiencing a goal drought, having not scored in his last eleven matches. The transfer window is set to close this coming Friday, and Botafogo recognizes the need to secure a replacement for the attack if the deal proceeds.
