The Pavia Botanical Garden is hosting a special preview for the ‘Horti Aperti’ event on Friday, September 18. The program, which focuses on the theme ‘Art and Manner: The Intelligent Garden,’ integrates science, art, and biodiversity.

Key activities include the inauguration of the sculpture ‘Fiore’ by artist Carlo Mo, which will be on loan to the garden for two years. The event also features a guided tour led by director Silvia Assini regarding biodiversity and climate change, followed by a lecture-show by biologist and naturalist Francesco Tomasinelli titled ‘Nothing is as it Seems: A Journey into Mimicry between Nature, Art, and Science.’

This preview serves as an introduction to the main festivities scheduled for September 19 and 20 at the gardens of the Almo Collegio Borromeo.
