Botoșani children participate in waste recycling education

Nearly 100 children in Botoșani participated in an interactive environmental education session focused on waste separation and recycling. Organized by Urban Serv SA and A. D. I. Ecoproces, the initiative aimed to teach children how to correctly use different colored bins to ensure proper waste management.

Participants learned that yellow bins are for plastic and metal, blue bins are for paper and cardboard, and green bins are for glass. The lesson also covered specialized disposal for textiles, as well as the importance of separately collecting hazardous items such as batteries, light bulbs, needles, and medications to prevent them from mixing with household waste.
