Botoșani Municipality holds public workshop for urban redevelopment

The Botoșani City Hall, in partnership with URBAN SCOPE SRL, is hosting a group workshop to gather public input for the integrated urban development project in the Unirii area. This initiative follows previous online surveys and focus groups aimed at shaping the future of the Unirii Pedestrian Zone and Cinema Unirea.

Participants will join one of three specialized working groups to provide concrete proposals:

1. The Unirii Pedestrian Zone: focusing on vegetation, shade, urban furniture, paving, accessibility, lighting, and bicycle paths. 2. Cinema Unirea: discussing the building's future functions, including the cinema hall, multi-functional spaces, and the esplanade. 3. Events and Urban Art: addressing flexible event spaces, outdoor projections, festivals, murals, and urban installations.

The workshop is free and open to the public, with discussions facilitated by reference images and plans. The resulting proposals will be recorded in a public consultation report to serve as the foundation for the project's design phase.
