Botoșani Pneumophthisiology Hospital approves solar panel project

The Botoșani Pneumophthisiology Hospital has received approval to move forward with a project to install photovoltaic panels on its roof. The initiative aims to increase the use of renewable energy for self-consumption by utilizing available rooftop surfaces and integrating energy storage capabilities.

The hospital intends to apply for funding through the Modernization Fund under the program ‘Renewable energy sources and energy storage’. This specific program is designed to support investments in new renewable energy production capacities with integrated storage for public entities.

While the current decision approves the project design, the funding application, and the placement of equipment, it does not yet authorize the actual execution of works. The hospital has committed to covering any ineligible expenses or additional costs required to implement the investment from its own budget or other legal sources.
