Botswana focuses on digital infrastructure and private sector growth

Botswana Fibre Networks (BoFiNet) is celebrating 13 years of operation, having expanded its national fibre network from 6,000 kilometres to over 14,000 kilometres. The organization has achieved financial sustainability without government subvention while connecting 227 gazetted towns and villages to support digital inclusion and ICT education.

In a separate economic development effort, FNB Botswana is participating in the 18th National Business Conference in Francistown. Hosted by Business Botswana in partnership with the Ministry of Trade and Entrepreneurship, the conference aims to drive economic transformation through private-sector-led growth, investment attraction, and enterprise development.
