Bottles releases 67.4 update with Battle.net fixes and ARM64 support
Mirko Brombin has released Bottles 67.4, a new update for the open-source Wine manager on Linux. This version includes a targeted bug fix that resolves a persistent crash loop in Blizzard’s Battle.net launcher, which previously hindered game installations for some users.
The update also addresses a video playback issue for KiriKiri-powered visual novels and includes the Soda 11.0-10 dependency bundle. For Flatpak users on version 67.3, the new components can be updated automatically through the Components catalog without a full application upgrade.
Notably, the recent development cycle has expanded Bottles' capabilities to include experimental ARM64 support via the cpak packaging channel. This allows the software to run on ARM-powered laptops and single-board computers by utilizing native ARM64 and ARM64EC support within the Soda runner, alongside FEX for running x86 and x86_64 Windows software.
